                       The best thing about my art work is definitely how creative it is , I used a Halloween theme since Halloween is coming up this week i used that as an inspiration as well as my own ideas. The weakest thing about my Sugar Skull is the fact that i don't have that much things in the empty spaces in my Skull i could have added more designs with more time and more thinking. The tools i used in Illustrator that i used were The pen, smooth tool, curve point pen tool, move tool, gradient to add the colors, and the stroke tool. I feel like i achieved the goal of learning how to use the pen tool, smooth tool, and tracing tool as well as learning how to navigate through Illustrator. I reached these goals because i was working efficiently and effectively with all the time i had, i was also asking questions when i was confused or wanted clarification. The part that was easy about this assignment was coming up with a theme that i wanted overall and coming up with designs that i wanted on my Sugar Skull. The parts that i found most difficult were tracing the Skull than having to use the smooth tool to make it smooth all around, also trying to design all the things i wanted on my skull since we couldn't copy and paste from google. If i could do this assignment all over i would try to incorporate more designs of things that i like by taking more time to draw them out fully, and i would also like to try a different color way and a different theme to see what that would look like compared to this one. On a scale of 1-10 i would give myself a 10 because i really did give this assignment 100% effort even though it might not be the best i think i did good for my first time using illustrator and this can help me get better with future projects.

    in love the color and the idea of the pictures you used i would of done the feet somewhere else on the face and add extra things on the eyes

.I believe the best thing about my art work is the gradient is the background it goes from dark to light and i find that really cool , also the different shapes and shadings on the letters.  I feel the weakest thing about my art work maybe would be that i didn't use a different type of font and play more with different fonts, if i did that then it would have looked more creative.The weakest thing could be improved on future projects because i can incorporate the different fonts of the letter or image and add more creativity to the picture.Some of the tools i used on this project in Photoshop is the T tool for typing, the gradient tool to help me create my background, i used copy and paste to add more letters. Cartoon character

The best thing about my cartoon image is that i used different circular like shapes to create her hands, head,and feet as well as adding a gradient on her body parts. I feel like the weakest thing about my image would have to be her hands i could have added more detail to them and make them stick out more in the image. While making this image i used the move tool, elliptical marquee tool to create her head, body, arms, and feet, gradient to add the both color mixed together, and just saving and opening the cartoon pictures from google. I was able to meet the goals of this assignment because i was focused during all of the last class we had, and i had my idea already while my teacher was explaining the assignment.
